Kempty Falls (5 km from the city center) 

Kempty Falls

A beautiful fall falling from a height of 40 feet in Mussoorie hills where the water collects at the bottom to form a pond. It is a popular spot for picnic and swimming. There are many eateries available in the spot to take care of your appetite after a relaxing swim in the pond. Visitors can also take a rope-way ride to view the alluring scenery around the fall. The best time to visit the fall is during summers.

Mussoorie has an attractive Mall Road with Picture Palace in one end and Library on the other end. Visitors can take a walking tour of the Mall Road where one can find restaurants, coffee shops, hotels, banks, shops (art craft, handicraft, hand loom and woolen, Tibetan market) and they also get to see a captivating view of Dehradun valley. Visitors can also take a rope-way to Gun Hill view point from the Mall Road. There is no parking aloud in Mall Road but parking spaces are available outside Mall Road.

Gun Hill is situated 400 feet above the Mall Road and is a popular view point for nature lovers and photographers. From the view point you get a mesmerizing view of snow clad Himalayan mountains and Dehradun Valley. Visitors can either trek or take a rope-way ride to the hill.

Lal Tibba is the highest point of Mussoorie from where visitors can get an enchanting view of Neelkanth Peak in Badrinath, Kedarnath Peak and Banderpoonch ranges. Visitors can also take a hike to Pepperpot Mountain and Deo Tibba. There are many eateries and shops available in Lal Tibba.

The temple is situated in Happy Valley. It is the first Tibetan shrine of Lord Buddha built in India and was consecrated by His Holiness Dalai Lama. The temple has a beautiful architecture and statues of Lord Buddha and His Holiness Dalai Lama. The temple also has rich collection of books on Buddhism and Tibetan literature.
