Badi Recipe





Serves  4, Time Taken 50 minutes


Ingredients

8-10 dried Badi (Lentil Drops)
1 chopped Onion
4 chopped cloves Garlic (Lahasan)
1 inch chopped Ginger (Adarak)
1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
1 tablespoon Whole Wheat Flour
2 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
½ teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
Refined Oil
Salt as per taste
Water

How to make Badi

Step 1

Heat oil in the pan and then roast the badi till it turns golden. Set aside the roasted badi.

Step 2

Heat oil in the pan, saute cumin seeds, chopped garlic, ginger and onion. Add wheat flour and roast till it turns deep brown.

Step 3

Add water, roasted badi, turmeric powder, chili powder and salt and cook in medium flame until it thickens.

Once ready garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
