Fini Recipe





Serves 25 Fini, Total Time 1 hr

Satho Ingredients

200 gm Ghee
1½ cup Rice Flour

Fini Dough Ingredients

1 kg Maida
50 gm Ghee
Water

Other Ingredients

1 cup Sugar
Refined Oil for deep frying

How to make Fini

Step 1

For Satho add rice flour and ghee in a bowl and mix well till it becomes smooth.

Step 2

For the dough add maida, ghee and water in a bowl and knead it till we have a soft dough. Cover the dough with a wet cloth and set aside for 15 minutes.

Step 3

Grind the sugar into a fine powder.

Step 4

Divide the dough into 2 or 4 equal parts and then flatten each part. Using a butter knife evenly spread Satho over these flatten parts. Now make tight rolls out of these parts and then cut them into 2 inch pieces.

Step 5

Now flatten these roll pieces and using a knife cut 3 equally spaced slits on these flattened pieces.

Step 6

Heat the oil in a pan. Put enough quantity of oil for deep frying the flatten roll pieces. Add the flattened pieces into the pan and cook both sides for 3 minutes till they turn crisp. Drain out the excess oil using the absorbent paper.

Step 7

While it is still hot sprinkle sugar powder on both sides, the sugar melts and sticks to the fini. Store the Fini in an airtight container.

Fini can be served with tea or coffee.
