Kheere Ka Raita Recipe





Serves 4, Time Taken 30 minutes

Ingredients

2 Cucumbers (Kheera)
4 teaspoon Mustard Seeds (Sarso)
½ teaspoon Methi Seeds (Fenugreek Seeds)
1 bunch Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
3 Green Chilies
1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
2 cup Yogurt (Dahi)
Salt as per taste

How to make Raita

Step 1

Peel off the skin of the cucumber and finely grate it. Squeeze out all the water from the grated cucumber.

Step 2

Roast the mustard and methi seeds in a pan. When it cools down grind the roasted seeds and water into a paste.     

Step 3

Beat the curd to make it smoother. Add grated cucumber, turmeric powder, chopped green chilies, chopped coriander leaves, roasted seeds paste and salt in the curd. Mix all the ingredients and the dish is ready.
